Sally Banks-Smith

Sally Banks-Smith is the Client Liaison Manager for Finance Mentors. Finance Mentors is a Choice Home Loans Franchise, which includes 35+ lenders with additional specialist and commercial lenders. Sally operates from 59 Derham Street, Port Melbourne.

Sally has worked in the financial services industry for over 15 years, starting with Retire-Invest as a CADET Financial planner and then AMP as a salaried financial planner for 5 years where she really ‘cut her teeth’ on all aspects of financial planning and risk management. Sally later commenced her own business, operating for about 8 years and working primarily in personal risk management with minimal investment/retirement planning advice for over 200 clients. Sally managed to successfully operate all aspects of compliance administration, ongoing competency training and regular client reviews to ensure the best and most appropriate strategies were in place for all clients.

Sally has since sold her business and has taken a more balanced approach to lifestyle generally, spending more time with her son and providing value added knowledge and related experience to the lending world working with Finance Mentors. Sally has been enlightened by some of the fundamental differences between investment and lending worlds and looks forward to assisting Finance Mentors in taking a strategic direction in its service delivery to clients now and in the future.
